Overview

The UPMC Human Resources Assistant role is a full-time, regular position working daylight hours Monday through Friday with some remote flexibility. It is integral to providing administrative support across the Physician Services Human Resources department.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clerical and administrative support to HR leadership and team.
  • Manage employee file maintenance and data entry of confidential information.
  • Run compliance queries and generate various HR reports.
  • Assist with expense processing, scheduling meetings, and calendar management.
  • Support the ordering of office supplies and organizing correspondence.

Qualifications & Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent with one year of administrative experience is required (HR preference), or a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or completion of the UPMC Summer Associate Program/Pittsburgh Fellows Program. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational, customer service, and confidentiality skills are essential.
