Overview
UPMC Department of GIM Medical Education is hiring a full-time Medical Education Program Academic Manager in Oakland, PA. This role involves managing the General Internal Medicine residency and fellowship programs, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, and supporting administrative processes.
Responsibilities
- Utilize MedHub for rotation scheduling and documentation management.
- Prepare and maintain accreditation and program oversight documents.
- Coordinate evaluations, meetings, and program recruitment resources.
- Manage new hire processes, trainee credentialing, and termination confirmations.
- Oversee budgets, expense submissions, and compliance supervision.
Work Hours & Arrangements
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm with flexible and remote work options based on the academic calendar.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School or equivalent plus 4 years of Medical Education experience OR Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years Medical Education experience.
- Licensure: Act 34.
