About the role
AI Engineer Opportunity at Oddsmate (via Uplers)
Oddsmate is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join their team. This is a full-time contract position for 12 months, offering a remote work arrangement and a focus on developing AI agents for the sports betting domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, build, and deploy production-ready AI agents for complex reasoning and decision-making in sports betting.
- Implement and manage integrations with Large Language Models (LLMs) using frameworks like LangChain and LangGraph.
- Design and implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines for LLMs to access real-time data.
- Integrate, test, and optimize machine learning models for predictive betting.
- Take full ownership of engineering projects, ensuring code quality and scalability.
- Collaborate with the founder/CTO and design team on product strategy.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience building and deploying sophisticated AI Agents.
- Expertise with major LLMs and proficiency in agentic/orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph).
- Demonstrable experience designing and implementing RAG pipelines with Vector Databases.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment with a strong sense of ownership.
- Proficiency in Python and relevant data/ML libraries (Pandas, NumPy).
Highly Preferred Skills:
- Experience with classic ML or deep learning algorithms (RNNs, LSTMs, Transformers) for time-series or prediction.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) for model deployment and MLOps.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Front-end development experience (React, Next.js, etc.).
