College of Medicine and Health at the University of Birmingham in Edgbaston, Birmingham, UK.
This is a full-time fixed term Grade 6 contract until September 2027 with a starting salary normally in the range of £33,002 to £35,608, with potential progression to £39,906.

Background
The Birmingham Integrated Clinical Academic Training (ICAT) programme supports around 95 doctors and dentists combining clinical training with academic research. The ICAT operations team works closely with NHS and University stakeholders to nurture future clinical research leaders.
Role Summary
The Clinical Academic Training Project Officer will manage smaller projects or provide significant project management support across designated projects, ensuring smooth project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
Main Duties
- Manage small projects or sub-projects within a larger programme.
- Prepare progress reports and project plans with identified KPIs and milestones.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders including NHS and academic professionals.
- Assess and escalate risks, manage budgets, and contribute to communication strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date project management methodologies and promote an inclusive culture.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- UK Level 5 qualification or equivalent (Foundation degree, HND).
- Substantial project management experience, preferably in an academic setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and custom project management systems.
- Experience with project management tools such as Prince2.
- Understanding of Equality Act 2010 and promoting equality in practice.
