About The Team
The Security Engineering team is responsible for operating and monitoring security systems and using security services provided by cloud service providers to respond to security events/incidents in a timely manner to minimize business impacts. The team deals with security relevant tasks and projects such as security architecture design, security best practices creation and application, security incidents management, security vulnerability management and security solutions deployment in the business environments.
What your work will look like:
- Evaluate the security strategies and contribute to designing and implementing our security architecture.
- Adopt required security controls to protect company assets, working together with application architects and owners.
- Mitigate security risks through security system operations, continuous security monitoring, threat analysis, and security incident response using the SOC platform.
- Discover standard security services offerings, install, and execute processes and standards for optimal use of security services from a variety of service providers.
- Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help manage security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and compliance guidelines in all highly regulated environments.
- Ensure that the company knows as much as possible, as quickly as possible about security incidents.
What you need to be successful in this role:
- Over 6+ years of security operations and engineering experience.
- Good understanding of security architecture design concepts and practical experience in applying them.
- Demonstrable experience working with security services offered by cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and using them to protect organization’s information assets.
- Strong knowledge of security analysis from the SOC perspectives (detection, triage, investigation, prevention, remediation, mitigation, etc.).
- Familiarity with DevOps environments and skills to apply cybersecurity principles, threat modeling, and risk assessment.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks or standards (e.g., NIST, GDPR, PCI DSS, ISO27001).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
NICE TO HAVE
- Certified in AWS Security Specialty or another relevant AWS certificate.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
- Deep understanding of DevOps tools or programming languages (GitHub, Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, Scripting languages, etc.).
