Role Overview
The Coordinator Biosecurity & Radiation Research at UNSW plays a key role in coordinating committees and processes related to research ethics, compliance, and safety. You will support committees including Human Research Ethics, Animal Care & Ethics, Gene Technology Research, and Radiation Safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage operations of the Gene Technology Research and Radiation Safety Committees
- Provide high-quality secretariat support, including minute taking
- Ensure research applications comply with relevant legislation
- Work closely with the Biosafety Coordinator and Radiation Safety Officer
- Lead accreditation and renewal processes for Approved Arrangements
