Role Overview

The Senior Cloud Platform Engineer will design, build, and scale the platform powering Unlimit's engineering organization. You will create multi-region cloud infrastructure in AWS, manage Kubernetes clusters, establish GitOps workflows, and build self-service portals, ensuring high reliability, security, and readiness for AI-driven innovation.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Design and implement scalable, multi-region AWS infrastructure.
  • Manage Kubernetes clusters and define golden deployment paths.
  • Implement Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps workflows.
  • Embed observability, resiliency, and zero-trust security across the platform.
  • Integrate AIOps, automated remediation, and ChatOps solutions.

Qualifications You Bring

  • 5+ years experience with distributed systems in production.
  • 3+ years hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
  • Expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, and automation scripting.
  • Experience with event streaming, CI/CD, and GitOps tools.
  • Strong communicator with mentoring experience.

Nice-to-Have

  • Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Professional, CKA, etc.).
  • Experience with zero-trust architectures and compliance frameworks.
  • Knowledge of observability stacks and AIOps/ChatOps tools.
