We are partnering confidentially with a global, publicly traded cybersecurity technology leader to identify a Vice President, Agentic Systems. This organization operates one of the largest AI-native security platforms in the world, processing nearly a trillion behavioral security events per day across a global customer base.
This is a rare opportunity to lead next-generation agentic AI systems at enterprise scale. The selected executive will define and execute the company’s vision for AI-driven automation in cybersecurity operations, shaping the future of intelligent security agents and autonomous defense workflows.
The Role of Vice President, Agentic Systems
The Vice President, Agentic Systems, will lead research, development, and operationalization of advanced AI agent frameworks that automate complex security analyst workflows. This role sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, large-scale data science, and threat research. This executive will serve as both a technical authority and strategic business partner, translating enterprise priorities into scalable AI solutions while aligning engineering, data science, product, and security teams around a unified roadmap.
Key focus areas include:
- Architecting enterprise-scale agentic AI systems
- Leading research in agentic planning, orchestration, and autonomous workflows
- Automating security analyst procedures through intelligent agents
- Building frameworks that combine multiple AI agents into complex, coordinated systems
- Establishing operational governance and performance metrics for agentic systems
- Partnering with threat research and cybersecurity domain experts to optimize real-world SOC workflows
- Driving cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Data Science, Product, and Managed Services
Executive Profile
The ideal candidate is a visionary AI leader with deep experience building and scaling machine learning or agent-based systems in complex enterprise environments.
Required Qualifications:
- 12+ years in data science, computational research, AI, or machine learning
- Proven experience leading large, high-impact technical teams
- Direct experience building and scaling AI-driven or agentic systems
- Demonstrated ability to define technical vision and align cross-functional teams
- Experience operating in highly dynamic, data-intensive environments
- Strong executive communication skills with the ability to influence IC through C-level
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within cybersecurity or security operations environments
- Experience working with large-scale real-time behavioral data systems
