About Multi-Scale Medical Robotics Center
Multi-Scale Medical Robotics Center Limited (MRC) is a distinguished InnoHK Centre of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, forged through a collaboration with leading international institutions including ETH Zurich, Imperial College London, Johns Hopkins University, and Technical University of Munich. We are seeking a highly capable candidate to join our administrative team, based in the vibrant Hong Kong Science Park. The successful appointee will play a crucial role across various administrative, Human Resources, and financial disciplines, engaging closely with both internal departments and external stakeholders at all levels.
Job Responsibilities for a Project Coordinator / Project Assistant
- Performing a wide range of administrative duties, including vital HR and Finance matters, while diligently ensuring full compliance with established guidelines and policies.
- Efficiently handling space management tasks, and regularly updating institutional databases and the website.
- Providing comprehensive support for diverse research projects, assisting academic and research staff, and executing essential secretarial tasks.
- Collecting, meticulously preparing, and analyzing statistical data, subsequently compiling detailed and insightful reports.
- Acting as a key liaison with various internal units and external partners, fostering effective communication.
- Actively assisting in the promotion and organization of various activities and events.
- Performing other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- A recognized Bachelor’s degree is essential for this role.
- Candidates must possess at least 2 years of post-qualification relevant work experience.
- An excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua, is required.
- Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
- A strong sense of responsibility and meticulous attentiveness to details.
- High self-motivation and the proven ability to work independently are critical.
- Good IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications, are expected.
Candidates with less experience will be thoughtfully considered for the Project Assistant designation. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in a written test.
Salary & Benefits
We provide a 5-day work week and an attractive remuneration package to the successful candidate. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The initial appointment will be on a contract basis for up to 2 years, featuring a contract-end gratuity for a 2-year term.
