About Flero

Flero is a rights-managed UGC video monetization platform designed to improve conversion rates for retailers, provide licensable media for AI shopping agents, and offer usage-based income to creators. It differentiates itself by being neutral, video-first, and rights-first with retailer-grade metadata and an AI agent-readable Model Context Protocol (MCP) / API endpoints.

What You Will be Doing

• Land 2–3 design‑partner pilots in a video‑sensitive category with clear success metrics.
• Ship an MVP on‑page module with transcripts, rights metadata, safety gating, and analytics wiring.
• Run a controlled experiment with randomized holdout and weekly metric reads.
• Seed creator supply with rights‑cleared clips across SKUs meeting quality thresholds.
• Define and deliver a read‑only API/MCP for ranked clips retrieval and metering.
• Ensure package compliance through standard license presets and retailer legal documentation.

What You Must Bring

• Experience at the intersection of engineering and product in marketplaces and e-commerce.
• Track record in converting enterprise pilots into paid rollouts, navigating procurement, security, and legal.
• Experience building a product from 0 to 1 and launching successfully.
• Proficiency in A/B testing for on‑site conversion metrics.
• Knowledge in rights/licensing, brand safety and FTC disclosure for creator content.
• Ability to specify ranking/quality pipelines and make sharp model trade‑offs.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication for diverse stakeholders.
• High integrity, ownership, and speed in execution.

What We’d Love to See

• Prior leadership at UGC/reviews/video commerce platforms.
• Experience on retailer PDP teams or marketplace buyer management.
• Exposure to content provenance, licensing technology, or API design.
• Familiarity with content moderation and safety systems.
• Network in the creator economy and understanding of predictable payouts.
• Fundraising experience from pre‑seed to seed rounds.
