The Director, Analytics and Business Optimization is a high-impact leadership role within a leading healthcare intelligence company that leverages AI-driven analytics to streamline payment operations for major health plans nationwide. This role is responsible for establishing and scaling the analytics function, turning complex data into actionable insights that drive operational performance and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end business analyses across payment operations and performance metrics.
- Develop foundational data assets, pipelines, and reporting infrastructure.
- Build and maintain executive dashboards for financial and operational performance.
- Design simulations and financial models to evaluate business decisions.
- Deliver high-value ad hoc analyses to guide executive strategy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, AI, engineering, and business teams.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a growing team of analysts.

Ideal Candidate Profile
Applicants should have 10+ years in analytics, business intelligence, or quantitative consulting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. A strong command of SQL and Python, experience with modern data stacks and analytics tools, and a proven track record of influencing business decisions through analytics are essential. Experience in healthcare, payments, or enterprise SaaS analytics is highly desirable.
