Overview

Cell-Free Genomics, Limited, a biotechnology company based in Cyprus, is seeking a motivated Data Analyst - Bioinformatician. This role is embedded within an interdisciplinary team working on next-generation sequencing based genetic testing and bioinformatics support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead analytical components of genetic testing using statistical and machine learning methods.
  • Perform computational analyses and provide bioinformatics support across genetic research activities.
  • Develop and optimize software tools and custom scripts to automate data processing.
  • Contribute to test verification and validation processes, advising on statistical methodologies.
  • Install, configure, and maintain technical solutions and manage large-scale datasets.
  • Support automation of data storage and retrieval ensuring regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Masters or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Strong programming skills (Python, R, or C++) and experience with Unix/Linux.
  • Experience with next-generation sequencing data analysis and molecular biology.
  • Familiarity with HPC, parallel programming, or relational databases (MySQL).
