Wheelsys, a leading organization with over 1200 customers in 120+ countries in the car rental and mobility industry, is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join its team.

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Compliance Manager located in Athens, Greece.

Role Overview

The Compliance Manager will be instrumental in overseeing, implementing, and maintaining company-wide compliance programs and certifications to relevant industry standards. This vital position ensures Wheelsys consistently meets its evolving compliance obligations while simultaneously supporting rapid product innovation.

You will play a key role in audit readiness, comprehensive risk management, strategic policy development, and internal education across the entire organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate external and internal audits, including SOC2, ISO 27001/22301, and PCI-DSS.
• Monitor regulatory developments diligently and translate complex requirements into clear, actionable controls.
• Partner closely with security and engineering teams to ensure all technical controls effectively meet compliance requirements.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and actively support remediation initiatives to mitigate identified risks.
• Maintain precise compliance documentation and robust evidence repositories.
• Deliver comprehensive compliance training and awareness programs across the organization.
• Support vendor risk management and third-party due diligence processes.
• Report regularly on compliance status and overall risk posture to leadership.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in a similar compliance position.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating audits and effectively working with external auditors.
• Excellent communication skills and proven stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong documentation and policy development skills.
• Profound knowledge of at least two of the following frameworks: SOC2, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, PCI-DSS.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP, or CIPP are highly desirable.
• Familiarity with private/hybrid cloud platforms (Virtualization, Containerization).
• Experience implementing automated compliance or GRC tooling.
