About the Role
The AI Implementation Engineer will be the technical backbone of Australia’s leading AI implementation agency. You will work directly with mid-market clients to deploy enterprise-grade AI agents on a real, fast-paced platform built with TypeScript, Zod validation, and modern developer workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with clients to map business challenges.
- Build, test, and deploy intelligent agents across multiple channels including web, mobile, Slack, email, and social platforms.
- Write production-grade TypeScript code for custom skills, tools, and integrations using REST, GraphQL, and third-party APIs.
- Configure webhooks, cron jobs, event-driven automations, and multi-step agent workflows.
- Manage the full implementation lifecycle from scoping and development to testing and post-launch monitoring.
- Collaborate with product and support teams for troubleshooting and feedback.
- Document solutions, create reusable templates, and establish best practices.
- Transition into the AI Lead role to mentor junior engineers and set technical directions.
What We’re Looking For
If you have hands-on coding experience in TypeScript or JavaScript, a passion for AI, and a builder’s mindset, you’ll fit right in. Whether your background is from formal education, self-taught projects, or boot camps, your ability to ship solutions and communicate technical details to non-technical clients is key.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with agentic AI frameworks and autonomous agent architectures.
- Background in consulting, professional services, or agency-side implementation work.
- Familiarity with platforms like Slack, Shopify, Stripe, or CRM/ERP systems.
- Understanding of prompt engineering, RAG architectures, or fine-tuning workflows.
- Previous experience in a founding or early-stage role.
