About the Role
University Physicians' Association is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Pediatric Patient Service Representative (PSR) at GI for Kids in Morristown.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients in a friendly and timely manner.
- Ensure patients complete forms for electronic health records and billing.
- Maintain and verify patient demographic and insurance data.
- Facilitate smooth patient flow by timely processing at the front office.
- Answer patient registration and billing inquiries.
- Refer clinical care inquiries to the appropriate medical staff.
- Schedule patients with the appropriate physician.
- Scan documents into the electronic health record.
- Review urgent and special need medical records.
- Support the clinic under the guidance of the Certified Medical Assistant, including rooming patients and gathering information.
- Provide patient education as instructed.
- Triage clinical care calls, assess concerns, and respond per protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
