About the Role

University Physicians' Association is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Pediatric Patient Service Representative (PSR) at GI for Kids in Morristown.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Ensure patients complete forms for electronic health records and billing.
  • Maintain and verify patient demographic and insurance data.
  • Facilitate smooth patient flow by timely processing at the front office.
  • Answer patient registration and billing inquiries.
  • Refer clinical care inquiries to the appropriate medical staff.
  • Schedule patients with the appropriate physician.
  • Scan documents into the electronic health record.
  • Review urgent and special need medical records.
  • Support the clinic under the guidance of the Certified Medical Assistant, including rooming patients and gathering information.
  • Provide patient education as instructed.
  • Triage clinical care calls, assess concerns, and respond per protocols.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
