Overview
UT Urgent Care Clinic, serving Knoxville, TN and surrounding counties since 2007, is seeking experienced full-time Patient Service Representatives. This role requires working in a fast-paced urgent care environment and delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and assist with their requests upon arrival
- Obtain and record demographic, insurance, and financial information
- Collect co-pays, co-insurances, and past due balances
- Verify insurance eligibility and inform patients about payment policies
- Answer multi-line telephones and relay messages to clinical team members
Position Highlights
- Flexible 36-hour work week with three shifts per week
- 12-hour weekday shifts (9AM-9PM) and 9-hour weekend shifts (9AM-6PM)
- Shift differential up to $2.00 per hour

Salary and Benefits
Hourly wage ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 based on experience. Requirements
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
- Reliable transportation
- Experience in fast-paced, team-driven environments
- Outstanding customer service skills
- GED or Higher School Diploma required
- 1+ year experience in healthcare settings (medical office, urgent care, ED) preferred
