Your Opportunity

As the Communications and Outreach Coordinator, you will shape the department’s identity and engagement with multiple audiences including students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors and the public. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, you will work alongside department leadership and faculty to develop and execute integrated communications, marketing and outreach strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing plans for programs and events
  • Advise on marketing best practices and strengthen brand identity
  • Manage the department's website and social media presence
  • Organize and execute events and promotional activities
  • Produce promotional materials and deliver presentations

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or equivalent
  • Minimum five years of relevant professional experience
  • Proven ability to develop and implement communication strategies
  • Experience in event organization and outreach initiatives
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Drupal and social media platforms
  • Excellent written, verbal, storytelling, and presentation skills
