Staff Pharmacist - USC Pharmacy and Wellness Center
The University of Southern California (USC), founded in 1880, is a world-class research university and the largest private employer in the City of Los Angeles. Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is seeking a Part-time Staff Pharmacist for the USC Pharmacy and Wellness Center in South Los Angeles. This role involves patient care, clinical services, medication distribution, and on-site teaching. Responsibilities include:- Providing direct patient care at the USC Pharmacy and Wellness Center.
- Precepting students in community pharmacy practice, disease screening, prevention, and medication therapy management.
- Medication dispensing, patient counseling, and serving as a resource to patients and healthcare providers.
- Managing pharmacy operations and record-keeping.
- Coordinating patient care with the associated on-site clinic.
- Doctorate in Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree.
- Valid license to practice pharmacy in California.
- 1 year of community pharmacy experience.
- PGY-1 Residency.
