The University of Pennsylvania Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of Medicine are recruiting candidates for Assistant Professor positions in the non‐tenure academic clinician track. Eligibility and Qualifications

Applicants must hold an M.D. or equivalent degree with ABA certification and subspecialty certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Anesthesiology. Candidates should be eligible to obtain a Pennsylvania license.

Teaching Responsibilities

The role involves teaching in both formal didactic lectures and informal educational settings. This includes instruction for medical students, residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals in the cardiothoracic operating rooms and procedural areas.

Clinical Responsibilities

Duties include direct patient care and medical direction in cardiothoracic operating rooms and procedural areas with a primary practice located at the Philadelphia campus of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Academic Expectations

Applicants are expected to demonstrate academic productivity and leadership in pediatric cardiothoracic anesthesiology, develop an Area of Concentration (AoC), and contribute to impactful clinical care and education.
