As a Case Initiation Specialist, you will be responsible for establishing electronic records used in child support case management.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed online research to verify and clarify information.
- Create and maintain electronic records for child support cases.
- Review, collect, and verify child support data from various sources.
- Apply state and local laws in case processing procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and maintain professional relationships.
Work Environment & Training
This position offers a cubicle workspace during daytime hours with weekends off and most state holidays. Remote or hybrid work options may be available after meeting productivity goals. In-service training, coaching, and mentoring are provided to ensure performance excellence.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED with 18 months of related experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented with basic computer skills and customer service aptitude.
- Bilingual Spanish/English and proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred.
Additional Information
This role requires a background check including national fingerprinting and police records check. Compliance with The University of Oklahoma Norman Campus Tuberculosis Testing policy is required.
