Overview
The University of Melbourne is seeking a Research Assistant - BEST Laboratory to lead transformative research in sleep and breathing therapies for neuromuscular diseases. This full time, fixed term position (two years) offers the opportunity to collaborate with top professionals and contribute to cutting-edge research improving patient outcomes.
Role Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments with trial participants and analyze data.
- Coordinate study activities including organizing study visits and managing trial documentation.
- Assist in participant recruitment and serve as the contact point for the team.
- Contribute to academic publications and research output.
What You Bring
You are an enthusiastic allied health professional with a strong research background and exceptional interpersonal skills. You hold a relevant Bachelor degree in allied health, science, or health sciences and have experience in healthcare or clinical research settings. Relevant experience in upper limb rehabilitation and AHPRA registration or accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist is valued.
