Position Overview
This non-tenure track Research Assistant Professor position in the Department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science at UIC is renewable annually up to three years. The role includes teaching three courses per year, engaging in robust research, and contributing to the academic life of the department.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach and advise students.
- Conduct and participate in significant research.
- Engage actively in the department's intellectual life.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must demonstrate outstanding research potential in mathematics, computer science, statistics, mathematics education, or a related field and are expected to have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree by the start date.

Salary & Benefits
Salary is $67,500 along with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement, paid time off, and tuition waivers.
