THIS Institute (The Healthcare Improvement Studies Institute) is dedicated to generating robust evidence to support healthcare innovation and improvement. The Opportunity: Research Assistant
We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant who will assist the research team in the collection and analysis of qualitative and/or quantitative data, in conducting literature reviews, in preparing data summaries and in contributing to writing-up of research findings. The successful candidate will work to support a range of research projects concerning the improvement of quality and safety in health care, improving the uptake and spread of good practice, and sustaining improvements in the way that care is delivered, as well as supporting the research infrastructure of THIS Institute.
Key Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant social or health science or related field, or equivalent qualifications/practical experience.
- Good knowledge of qualitative and/or quantitative research methods and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills.
Contract Details & Location
This is a full-time, fixed-term position with funding available until 31st March 2027. The role is located at the Department of Public Health and Primary Care, Strangeways Research Laboratory, Worts Causeway, Cambridge CB1 8RN, approximately 2 miles south of the city centre.
