Note: This role will be flexible with 2 days on-site and 3 days remote
This Administrative Assistant position provides professional, accurate, and comprehensive administrative support for the Institute for Health Policy Studies (IHPS) at the University of California, San Francisco. The incumbent supports key Institute initiatives and events, including the annual all-campus Spring Symposium and visiting scholar programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update websites
- Support communications efforts, including proofreading, managing Constant Contact distributions, and assisting with social media
- Coordinate and manage webinars
- Conduct literature searches in PubMed for scientific journal articles
- Schedule and coordinate complex meetings
- Oversee the faculty affiliation process
- Support Institute initiatives and events, including the annual all-campus Spring Symposium and visiting scholar programs
Department Description
UCSF's Temporary Employment Program (TEP) recruits and hires temporary employees for immediate clerical and technical support services to UCSF Departments and various off-campus locations. UCSF departments deploy temporary employees to work on special projects, fill in for regular employees who are on vacation or leave, or to temporarily fill a vacant position during recruitment. Frequently temporary employees become successful candidates for career and limited appointment positions.
