Responsibilities include operating cash registers effectively, maintaining clean and organized service areas, and ensuring inventory accuracy to support smooth operations. Ability to understand and follow directions in a high-volume guest-oriented environment. Responsibilities
- Verify cash balance at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Operate cash register, accept cash and credit cards, and manage change requests following established procedures.
- Set up, stock, clean, organize, and maintain a sanitized food service area.
- Process guests’ food and beverage orders, upsell products, and adhere to proper food portioning.
- Promote and provide extraordinary guest service for internal and external guests; answer questions, offer information, and provide assistance courteously.
- Understand and demonstrate proper safety practices and ensure department standards are maintained.
- Balance cash drawers accurately at the beginning and end of each shift, emphasizing integrity and adherence to cash-handling procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with inquiries, resolving complaints, and addressing concerns related to cash transactions professionally.
- Collaborate with team members and management to ensure compliant, efficient, and secure cash-handling processes.
- Monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment for team members and guests of all ages.
- Identify, de-escalate, and resolve conflicts or disturbances professionally and effectively.
- Provide a positive and welcoming experience for guests while maintaining composure during difficult interactions.
- Maintain a high level of trust and integrity to promote a safe, secure, and welcoming environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old or older.
- Prior Barista experience preferred.
Job Demands
This role requires the ability to walk or stand for extended periods and occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs (with assistance). The work environment typically has moderate to high noise levels and involves exposure to various weather conditions as work can be almost exclusively outdoors.
Schedule
Must be available to work at least 4 days per week throughout peak seasons, including a rotation of mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
