Role Overview
The UK Copyright Manager is a key role within the UK Copyright team reporting to the Senior Manager, UK Copyright and Customer Services. This newly elevated role focuses on implementing songwriters' publishing agreements and managing copyright administration, ensuring contracts are followed and royalties maximised.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and track publishing agreements in the UMPG database.
- Ensure accurate ingestion of works data and metadata registration.
- Liaise with Business Affairs, A&R and clients to confirm contractual details.
- Provide quality assurance and manage copyright queries from multiple parties.
- Collaborate with the US-based Global Copyright team and international offices.
- Maintain copyright policies and documentation, and support compliance controls.
Bring Your Vibe
Minimum 4 years of related experience in music publishing copyright roles, with expertise in publishing contracts, copyright administration, and people management. Excellent communication, analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential.
