The A Side: A Day in The Life
The Business Analyst is responsible for gathering requirements from key users, documenting them and ensuring the software meets business needs. You will collaborate with business owners and project managers to plan, analyze risks and issues, and develop measurable business cases with clear acceptance criteria.
The B Side: Skills & Experience
- Be Technical: Define user stories using BDD/Gherkin style, perform detailed requirement analysis, facilitate Agile ceremonies, own requirements, document application features, and support UAT.
- Be Commercial: Understand business processes and needs, and align software functionality accordingly.
- Be Collaborative: Work with BA peers, POs, SMEs, QA, and development teams to manage requirements, facilitate workshops, and record key action points.
Person Specification
Necessary: Significant experience delivering enterprise solutions, expertise in software lifecycle management, agile practices, stakeholder management and solid technical understanding including APIs and system integration.
Desirable: Experience in music industry royalty/copyright, SQL fluency, Excel expertise, and ability to create technical diagrams.
