In this role as Associate Manager Business Affairs at Universal Music Group, you will work with Universal Music Enterprises (UME) in Santa Monica, CA to research and license reissue requests, analyze financial information, and support various departments including accounts payable, receivable, and licensing.

How We LEAD

The role collaborates between finance and UME departments, performing monthly management analysis and ad hoc analyses as required by senior management.

Key Responsibilities

• Research artist agreements for catalog reissues.
• Unlock ancillary rights from the Universal catalog.
• Maintain and organize licensing files and correspondence.
• Support department and company projects as needed.
• Prepare monthly management and financial reports.

Qualifications

• BA degree required; entertainment/music experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years experience working with artist contracts.
• Excellent negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
