About the Editor Software Developer
Unity is looking for an Editor Software Developer to join the LiveOps Developer Experience team. The role focuses on designing and building the interface for next generation LiveOps management tools and services, empowering game developers to launch, balance, monetize their games, and operate them with the best observability tools.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and extend gameplay-focused modules, API, and UI.
- Improve the architecture of existing systems and design new ones.
- Code, document, and test systems used daily by game developers.
- Collaborate with an international development team.
- Develop and maintain the Editor framework used by millions of developers.
What We’re Looking For
Proficiency in C# and good experience in C++ are essential. Experience in the game industry, extending the Unity Editor, working with live services (e.g., Unity Game Services, Playfab, Firebase), and handling data pipelines are also valuable.
