More on the Ecosystem Marketing Manager role

The main responsibilities

  • Partner Co-Marketing & Campaigns: Take the positioning built by our Product Marketing Manager and turn it into live partner marketing campaigns.
  • Brand Activation & Social Growth: Take our existing brand and make it loud. You will own our social media channels and engage with key industry influencers to ensure our brand is visible and active.
  • Earned Media & PR: Own the relationship with the market. Proactively pitch and connect with journalists, podcast hosts, and media outlets to secure coverage.
  • Events & Field Marketing: Own the entire event lifecycle from strategy to execution.

The experience we need

We don’t believe in adding 10 requirements just to fill a job posting. We keep the list short and only mention what will be necessary for you to perform in this Ecosystem Marketing Manager role. If you don’t fit these criterias but decide to apply anyway, make sure you let us know why in the questionnaire you’ll receive later on.

  • 7-10 years of B2B Tech marketing experience, with specific expertise in Partner Marketing, Field Marketing.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional integrated campaigns from strategy to execution.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills with the ability to adapt voice for different audiences (e.g., executive thought leadership vs. partner newsletters).
  • Experience planning and executing events and "sidecar" activations at major conferences.
  • Demonstrated ability to secure co-marketing placements and negotiate "value-exchange" opportunities with partners.
  • AI Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency with generative AI tools (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude).
  • Strong spoken & written English.

Other Skills That Will Be Valued

These are not requirements but will likely help you ramp up faster and succeed at Unito as an Ecosystem Marketing Manager.

  • Ability to track campaign ROI and ecosystem influence. You can look at a report and tell us exactly which event or partner contributed to the pipeline.
  • Experience working in a Sales-Led Growth (SLG) environment; you understand the nuances of supporting a sales team that closes high-value, complex deals.
  • Ability to communicate in French (or desire to learn!)

More on the salary

We decided to share the salary associated with this Ecosystem Marketing Manager job posting publicly because pay transparency is at the core of Unito and has a tremendous impact on workplace equity.

Two things to note before we get to the numbers:

  • We have fully transparent and data-backed salaries. Which means pay is an open and fair discussion at Unito. Read more on exactly what that means here.
  • If your salary expectations are higher than the range indicated below, it’s probably because you’re more senior than what we initially targeted. We’re always willing to hire someone more senior if they’re the right fit, and we will always pay our staff fairly. So you should still apply if this role and company are what you’re looking for.

The Range

Our ideal seniority level: intermediate to senior (level 4 leveling system)

The corresponding salary range: $145,000 to $160,000 CAD
