About The Role

Reporting to the Service Director, the Administration Officer will provide effective and efficient administrative support to the Director/Nominated Supervisor, including but not limited to:

  • Responding to telephone enquiries and emails
  • Filing, archiving and producing documents
  • Communicating information to parents, community members and staff
  • Data entry, enrolments and managing waiting lists
  • Processing fees, balancing accounts and maintaining petty cash
  • Conducting centre tours for prospective families
  • Preparing reports, newsletters and service communications
  • Supporting marketing activities and events
  • Ensuring compliance with WHS and Children’s Services Regulations

You’ll be the welcoming first point of contact for families while ensuring strong systems, accuracy and confidentiality across the service.

About You

You are organised, detail-focused and thrive in a busy environment. You take ownership of your work and build strong relationships with families and team members.

You Will Bring

  • 1+ years administration or reception experience
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience in cash handling and reconciliations
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A valid Working With Children Check (NSW)
  • Alignment with Uniting’s values

Highly Regarded

  • Experience in children’s services administration.
