Job Description

The Nursing Academic Site Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring effective delivery of educational programs at assigned hospital sites. This managerial role involves people leadership, strong organizational skills, and collaboration with clinical staff, educational teams, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Test Proctors: Identify, interview, select, onboard, and schedule qualified test proctors; supervise and monitor their performance; ensure adherence to compliance and test security protocols; recommend process improvements.
  • Site Coordinator Training and Onboarding: Provide hands-on support and job shadowing for new site coordinators during the first 90 days.
  • Resource Allocation: Oversee skills lab calendar, coordinate room reservations, prepare lab equipment, and manage inventory while adhering to budgetary constraints.
  • Orientation: Direct new student and nursing core orientation for each cohort.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of healthcare skills and simulation education or training coordination.
  • Previous experience in program coordination in an educational or training environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software applications.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
