Job Description

As a Financial Aid Administrator at Unitek Learning, you will guide current, prospective, and alumni students through the financial aid process. Reporting directly to the Director of Financial Aid, you will be responsible for administering, determining eligibility, and processing student financial aid to help maintain positive cash flow along with other related tasks.

  • Process verification and disbursements of state and federal aid
  • Package aid in compliance with federal regulations and policies
  • Counsel students and parents providing estimates and packaging information
  • Audit files and run reports to ensure work integrity
  • Assist with private loans and VA benefits packaging
  • Train new hires and support current Financial Aid staff
  • Participate in inter-department projects and resolve issues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Financial Aid
  • CampusVue® experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail with the capability to multi-task
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
