Optum, a global organization at UnitedHealth Group, leverages technology to help millions live healthier lives. As an Advisory Services Senior Consultant, you will lead moderate-complexity engagements for healthcare provider clients, improving revenue cycle and medical group operations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead consulting projects, manage work streams, and assign tasks.
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis using financial models and Excel.
- Facilitate senior leadership presentations and executive communication.
- Develop project plans, deliverables, and maintain engagement quality.
- Coach junior staff and contribute to practice-level initiatives.
Required & Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate has 4+ years in healthcare revenue cycle or medical group consulting, strong data analytics skills (Excel, Power BI, Tableau), and excellent client relationship management capabilities. Professional consulting experience and hands-on Tableau experience are preferred.
Additional Information
This role offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. and requires up to 60% domestic travel when safe. Comprehensive benefits, incentive programs, equity, and 401k contributions are provided. Compensation ranges from $89,900 to $160,600 annually, based on factors including experience and location.
