Role Overview
The Pharmacy Floor Supervisor leads a team of Pharmacy Technicians, Team Leads, and Clerks in processing specialty prescription orders. You will act as both an inspirational leader and a subject matter expert, ensuring high-quality outcomes while supporting various operational duties assigned by pharmacy leadership.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 15-20 pharmacy staff in Fulfillment and Inventory Operations.
- Schedule, assign, and follow up on employee work results.
- Recruit, select, orient, and train new employees.
- Conduct training and development sessions and provide performance feedback.
- Monitor team performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Current Pharmacy Technician Licensure (or willingness to obtain within 1 year).
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in warehouse, retail, or distribution settings.
- Experience with process improvements and performance management.
- Proven ability to foster a culture of collaboration and inclusiveness.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
- Experience in pharmacy practice, regulatory compliance, and mail order pharmacy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
