Role Overview

The Pharmacy Floor Supervisor leads a team of Pharmacy Technicians, Team Leads, and Clerks in processing specialty prescription orders. You will act as both an inspirational leader and a subject matter expert, ensuring high-quality outcomes while supporting various operational duties assigned by pharmacy leadership.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 15-20 pharmacy staff in Fulfillment and Inventory Operations.
  • Schedule, assign, and follow up on employee work results.
  • Recruit, select, orient, and train new employees.
  • Conduct training and development sessions and provide performance feedback.
  • Monitor team performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Current Pharmacy Technician Licensure (or willingness to obtain within 1 year).
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in warehouse, retail, or distribution settings.
  • Experience with process improvements and performance management.
  • Proven ability to foster a culture of collaboration and inclusiveness.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
  • Experience in pharmacy practice, regulatory compliance, and mail order pharmacy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
