Position Description
The Senior Analyst, Transformation plays a critical supporting role in advancing U.S. Soccer’s operational effectiveness through transformation initiatives and large-scale projects. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Transformation, this role offers visibility across the organization by collaborating with cross-functional leaders to drive efficiencies, improve processes, and manage organizational change.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operational Efficiencies: Identify, evaluate, and recommend opportunities for operational improvement and cost optimization across departments.
- Support cross-functional transformation projects through data analysis, project tracking, process automation, and stakeholder coordination.
- Develop project documentation, dashboards, and process maps for planning and implementation.
- Support initiatives such as Travel & Expense Optimization and NTC Operational Readiness.
- Collaborate with departments to analyze the impact of proposed changes.
Large Scale Special Projects
- Contribute to projects including Mergers & Acquisition support, World Cup 2026 budgeting, and Procure to Pay process transformation.
- Support the Vice President with project planning, timeline management, and risk identification.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to gather business requirements, document processes, and offer data-driven recommendations.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in consulting, finance, project management, or operations. Must possess strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills along with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with a plus if experienced in Power Query, Power BI, or similar tools. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while connecting micro details to the macro vision are required. A general knowledge of soccer and a team-oriented, collaborative approach are essential.
Desired Qualifications:Prior experience in a nonprofit, sporting organization, or consulting firm. Experience in supporting transformation or operational improvement projects.
