Overview
The Manager, Philanthropic Giving Southern California is a mission-driven role dedicated to generating significant support for Team USA by facilitating the major gift program in the Los Angeles and Orange County regions. The position involves identifying, cultivating, and soliciting major gift prospects, managing a portfolio of approximately 150 prospects capable of making gifts of $250,000+, and participating in donor stewardship activities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an annual operating plan aligned with fundraising goals.
- Manage and cultivate a major gift portfolio to meet regional philanthropic targets.
- Identify, cultivate, and solicit qualified prospects for significant charitable gifts.
- Collaborate with the Strategic Advancement team and volunteer networks.
- Utilize technology and research resources for prospect development.
Skills & Experience
Candidates should have 5+ years in non-profit fundraising with proven success in managing significant gifts. A bachelor’s degree (advanced preferred) and experience in a competitive development environment are required. Exceptional communication, relationship building, and stewardship skills are essential.
Tools, Equipment & Conditions
Standard office equipment, domestic/international travel, and regular in-person attendance are required. The candidate must be comfortable working remotely from Los Angeles.
Additional Information
This full-time, exempt position offers a salary range of $62,672 - $79,593 per year with eligibility for an Annual Incentive Award Program (target 15%) and comprehensive USOPC benefits.
