Job Description

Position Summary

United Health Services (UHS) is actively recruiting a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for our Walk In Clinic located in Vestal and Endicott, NY sites. This full-time position involves working 7–12 hour shifts per pay period, including every other weekend, and reports directly to the UHS Walk-In Clinical Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and drive clinical outcomes within the walk-in clinic setting.
  • Contribute to an environment where walk-in care is recognized as a core strength of UHS.
  • Provide direct patient care across the full spectrum of medicine for all ages, including pediatrics.
  • Perform minor procedures such as sutures and splints comfortably.

Qualifications

  • A licensed Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) eligible to practice in New York State.
  • Eligible for membership on the UHS Medical Staff.
  • Required experience in full spectrum medicine for all ages (including Peds).
  • Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, splints, etc).
  • Previous experience in a Walk-In Clinic, Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine setting is preferred.
