Overview

The Account Exec - Cargo Sales GBR at United Airlines plays a key role in driving revenue growth through outside sales, account management, and business development in the cargo sector. This position offers an opportunity to work in a leading air freight service that moves a wide range of cargo from everyday electronics to critical healthcare supplies.

Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for introducing cargo products, maintaining high customer service standards, and staying current with market and competitive trends. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing long-term client relationships
  • Proactively soliciting cargo business to exceed revenue goals
  • Making frequent in-person sales calls including export and import sales
  • Managing account profiles and using systems like Salesforce.com and CPO
  • Coordinating with internal teams to facilitate business reviews and rate negotiations

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include a secondary school education (or equivalent), sales experience with direct customer contact, and a clean UK driver’s license. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and fluency in English are essential. Some overnight travel required and legal authorization to work in the United Kingdom is mandatory.

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree and experience with sales technology such as Salesforce.com, RTS, CPO & UC360.
