About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Engineer, System Architecture with a focus on Power Consumption to join our team at UNISOC. This role is critical in driving power efficiency across our system solutions, from technical insight and planning to hands-on optimization and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Power Technology Insight and Planning: Conduct power technology insights, planning, and research for system solutions. Develop and apply new power technologies, manage technical requirements, and author design documents.
  • System Power Optimization: Optimize power consumption for Android and other operating systems. This includes CPU scheduling, memory optimization, performance optimization, and graphics display optimization to address high power consumption issues.
  • System Architecture Analysis: Design system architectures for specific scenarios, analyze hardware performance and power consumption, and propose and implement optimization solutions.
  • Power Issue Analysis and Resolution: Analyze and resolve power consumption issues encountered in user scenarios. Conduct competitor research and technical analysis.
  • Hardware and Software Integrated Solutions: Based on chip test data analysis, propose and implement solutions. Provide integrated hardware and software optimization strategies and chip improvement recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Communications, Software Engineering, Electronics, or a related field, with 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in system power design and optimization. Deep understanding of terminal peripheral basic principles and debugging methods. In-depth understanding of one or more areas such as screens, SOC, communication, cameras, Wi-Fi, or operating systems.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C, and C++, with strong coding and debugging skills.
  • Team player with innovative thinking, strong learning ability, logical reasoning, and communication skills.
  • Familiar with terminal power design processes, optimization methods, and tools.
