This position involves applying core data science principles to a wide array of business problems, encompassing detailed problem analysis and strategic management to uncover growth and improvement opportunities through data-driven insights. Key responsibilities include extensive data exploration, meticulous feature engineering, and advanced machine learning modeling. The role actively contributes to achieving Operational Excellence, fostering Customer Intimacy, and driving New Business & Workplace Transformation for supported groups. This is accomplished by leveraging data solutions to identify impactful patterns that lead to increased revenue, reduced costs, effective risk management, and enhanced compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to define business problems, identify challenges, discover opportunities, and develop/implement data-driven recommendations and insights.
• Prioritize, scope, and manage data science projects, defining corresponding key performance indicators (KPIs) for success.
• Understand and document new and existing data sources and their processing pipelines.
• Apply statistical analysis and visualization methods to generate hypotheses about underlying business process mechanics.
• Develop and implement AI solutions using big data (internal and alternative sources) and advanced analytic tools (e.g., R, Python, Power BI, TensorFlow, Keras) to contribute to revenue, cost reduction, risk treatment, and compliance across the organization.
• Apply various Machine Learning and advanced analytics techniques, integrating domain knowledge into the ML solutions.
• Establish best practices for ML Operationalization (MLDLCP).
• Promote collaboration with other data science teams within the organization and encourage artifact reuse.
• Present possible opportunities, recommended solutions, business impact, and implementation proposals to stakeholders.
