Function and Reporting
This role is within the People Experience / Talent Acquisition function and reports to the Global Talent Acquisition Process Owner. It operates with a global scope, based in Manila.
Job Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to shape and accelerate innovation across Global Talent Acquisition, transforming how Unilever attracts, assesses, and hires talent at scale. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, testing emerging technologies, and converting successful ideas into scalable solutions, ultimately improving hiring quality, speed, efficiency, and overall candidate experience globally.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Opportunity Identification
- Support the Global Talent Acquisition Innovation agenda by identifying opportunities where technology, data, and AI can improve hiring outcomes and experiences.
- Stay informed on emerging trends, vendors, and digital solutions within the recruitment and HR technology landscape.
Experimentation & Product Delivery
- Lead end-to-end proof of concepts and pilots, from problem framing and solution design through testing, evaluation, and deployment.
- Apply a product mindset to innovation, balancing user experience, value creation, scalability, compliance, and cost considerations.
Partnership & Ecosystem
- Collaborate closely with HR, Talent, Global Process Owners, and cross-functional teams to ensure innovation aligns with broader business priorities.
- Build strong external relationships with technology partners, start-ups, innovation networks, and industry peers.
Measurement & Enablement
- Define clear success criteria and utilize data and analytics to measure impact and inform decision-making.
- Act as a visible ambassador for innovation within the Talent Acquisition community, fostering capability development, curiosity, and continuous improvement mindsets.
Required Qualifications
- Strong curiosity about how technology and AI can improve recruitment and talent decisions.
- Experience working within Talent Acquisition (e.g., recruiting, sourcing, or TA operations).
- Solid understanding of recruitment technology ecosystems (ATS, CRM, sourcing channels).
- Comfortable operating in complex, global, matrixed organizations.
- Strong communication, influencing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience applying human-centred design or product thinking.
- Exposure to recruitment operations or service delivery models.
- Experience working with external vendors, start-ups, and/or innovation partnerships.
- Track record of delivering technology change, pilots, or process redesigns.
