Overview
Join UNICEF as the Digital Strategy & ICT Consultant for GenU under the Programme Group. This role supports UNICEF's broad digital initiatives and enhances ICT capabilities across global programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement a digital strategy across GenU programmes.
- Provide technical expertise for platform integrations and ICT support.
- Manage transition of the P2E platform to an open source solution.
- Coordinate partnerships and conduct technical assessments.
- Support country office deployment, capacity building, and technical documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
Candidates must hold an advanced degree in Computer Science, IT, Digital Transformation or related field and have at least 10 years of relevant experience in ICT consulting and digital transformation. Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, API architecture, digital platform management, and stakeholder management is required. A proven track record in delivering digital strategies for large-scale programmes is essential.
Terms & Additional Information
This consultancy runs from 01 March 2026 to 28 February 2027, is fully remote, and includes travel expenses estimated at $8,000. Applicants must complete profile submission, upload academic credentials, and provide a detailed financial proposal. The selected candidate must comply with UNICEF requirements including visa, vaccination, and background checks.
