Role Overview
The Senior Strategic Adviser – Digital Education, Equity & Evidence provides strategic advice, analytical contributions, and intellectual leadership to UNICEF’s global digital education agenda, focusing on equity measurement, monitoring and evaluation, sustainability, and engagement with technology companies.
Main Responsibilities
- Contribute to the Digital Education Strategy and its implementation.
- Provide advisory inputs on M&E, equity, sustainability, and tech engagement.
- Support partnership engagement through thought leadership and event contributions.
- Draft a detailed report chapter on Evidence of Equity in EdTech.
Qualifications
An advanced university degree in Education, International Development, Economics, Public Policy, or Social Sciences, with a minimum of 15 years’ experience; proven academic and analytical track record in digital education and equity; experience with global strategy and cross-sector engagement; and excellent English language skills.
Additional Details
This consultancy is based in Stockholm, Sweden with a remote work possibility and includes an estimated travel budget with reimbursement on submission of genuine receipts. The payment is deliverable-based and subject to UNICEF’s standards.
