Consultancy Overview
The Reporting and Knowledge Management Consultant for the Child Protection Team - Programme Group will work remotely, supporting CPHA programming by advising on team planning, resource mobilization, results monitoring, reporting, knowledge management, evidence building and communication products. While the consultancy is home-based, candidates are expected to align their work with Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours. Deliverables will be completed over the period of 1 November 2025 to 31 October 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on CPHA team planning processes and coordinate key milestones.
- Support monthly CPHA team meetings, documentation, and action point tracking.
- Monitor KPIs and compile reports to inform decision-making.
- Coordinate resource mobilization including donor reports and financial tracking.
- Establish and manage centralized online databases and knowledge platforms.
- Develop communication and advocacy products, including dashboards and briefs.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate holds an advanced degree in a related field and has at least three years of experience in the humanitarian or child protection sector. Proficiency in English is required, with additional UN languages considered a plus. Candidates must also have a strong technical understanding of knowledge management, excellent IT skills, and the ability to work independently under pressure.
Additional Information
This consultancy is remote and the candidate must ensure availability during EST working hours. The role includes specific deliverables with clear deadlines and may occasionally require travel depending on programme needs. Visa and insurance requirements apply as per the terms of the consultancy with UNICEF.
