About UNICEF and the Role
The Cash based Assistance Knowledge management and reporting Consultant will support global reporting and knowledge management tasks for UNICEF's use of cash-based assistance modalities in fragile and humanitarian contexts.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting Activities: Undertake quality assurance tasks by triangulating data, liaising with country focal points, drafting annual reporting narratives and preparing visualizations.
Knowledge Management: Develop internal pages, case studies, newsletters and resource updates related to cash-based modalities.
Communication Activities: Produce ICON stories and social media packages, compile data for thematic messaging.
Deliverables and Timeline
- At least 5 narrative reports and data visualizations by May 31, 2026.
- At least 4 case studies, 3 newsletters, and maintenance of web pages by December 31, 2026.
- At least 4 ICON stories and a social media package by December 31, 2026.
Qualifications
Master's degree in economics, social science, data analytics or a related field (or a Bachelor's with additional work experience) and a minimum of 8 years professional experience in the humanitarian field, including 5 years in documenting humanitarian programmes.
Additional Information
Consultancy period: January 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026. Work arrangement is remote with the opportunity to collaborate with global teams. Applicants must have valid health insurance, meet visa requirements and be fully vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2 if applicable.
