Role Overview

The Policy Analyst - Green Recovery and Transition supports SDG Partnership projects and green transition initiatives, working under the supervision of the Centre’s Green Recovery and Transition Policy Specialist. The role includes project management support, knowledge management, event organization, and cross-cutting administrative functions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Project Management Support: Ensure timely, quality delivery of green recovery and SDG projects, manage risks and report progress.
  • Knowledge Management: Conduct policy research, author briefs, reports, and knowledge products on green recovery and low-carbon transition.
  • Event Organization: Organize knowledge exchange events, workshops, and policy dialogues, both online and offline.
  • Administrative Support: Assist in planning, reporting, and communications across USPC and UNDP partners.

Competencies and Skills

The role requires strong project management, research, and communication skills. Candidates should be fluent in English and Korean and possess solid knowledge in environment, climate, or low-carbon development. Cultural sensitivity and technical competence in digital tools are essential.

Education and Experience

An advanced degree in Environment, Energy, Climate, Social Sciences or a related field is preferred, though a bachelor’s degree with 2 years relevant experience is also considered. Experience with UN agencies or international organizations is an asset.
