About the Senior Full Stack Engineer Role

Underdog.io is a modern recruitment platform where companies apply to you. One of our growing hiring partners is looking to hire a Senior Full Stack Engineer. Build technology that empowers mental health care by removing barriers for thousands of clients.

What You’ll Do

  • Work full-stack with a focus on frontend development (60%).
  • Plan complex multi-team projects (10%).
  • Guide team’s technical execution and goal setting (10%).
  • Mentor and uplift software engineers (10%).
  • Improve engineering practices across the domain (10%).

How You’ll Do It

You will design, develop, and implement scalable features using a modern tech stack including React, TypeScript, Python, Django, and MySQL. Build provider-facing and internal tools critical to clinical care by collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers.

Maintain high standards for performance, scalability, and security.

Who You Are

You have 6-10 years of software engineering experience working across the stack with a frontend emphasis. You are experienced in modern web technologies, accessibility, security compliance, and automated testing. You thrive in collaboration, value customer-centered development, and love to guide complex projects to completion.
