This company addresses the threat of identical binaries in modern software supply chains by engineering intelligent variability into compilation. Their technology transforms uniform deployments into uniquely resilient assets, significantly increasing attack costs at scale. To achieve this, they orchestrate tens of thousands of parallel compiler runs, requiring a bulletproof, scalable infrastructure backbone. Join them to architect a greenfield platform from scratch, including distributed job scheduling, secure artifact distribution, and real-time telemetry, powering unbreakable software.

Your Impact

As a Founding Infrastructure Engineer, you will design the core systems responsible for executing millions of secure compiler jobs. You will own the orchestration platform that distributes, monitors, and scales isolated workloads across global clusters. Your work will directly ensure resilience for critical infrastructure spanning space, robotics, transportation, and edge networks.

Responsibilities

• Architect a secure, high-scale job orchestration system on Kubernetes for parallelized compiler workloads.
• Build container-native CI/CD pipelines to deploy thousands of isolated tasks concurrently.
• Automate cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) via Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/Pulumi, with a strong emphasis on security and cost efficiency.
• Engineer core services, including artifact caching, secrets management, logging, and metrics using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Implement autoscaling, fault tolerance, and observability for multi-tenant environments.
• Collaborate closely with compiler and security teams to harden systems against low-level threats.

Required Expertise

• 4+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or DevOps engineering.
• Kubernetes mastery, encompassing cluster design, operators, and workload orchestration at scale.
• Fluency in distributed systems concepts: concurrency, fault tolerance, and performance optimization.
• Coding proficiency in Golang, Python, or Rust.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), Infrastructure-as-Code, and full-stack monitoring/observability.
• Startup DNA, thriving in 0→1 environments and demonstrating strong ownership of outcomes.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with low-level security concepts such as sandboxing (seccomp, AppArmor), namespaces, or secure enclaves.
• Familiarity with compiler toolchains, build systems (e.g., Bazel/Buck), or artifact signing.
• A passion for securing critical systems in domains like robotics, energy, or edge/IoT.
